William “Bill” Ray Burns, 82, of Choctaw passed away September 18, 2023 surrounded by his family. Mr. Bill as he was known at Clinton Highschool, 16-year retiree, loved wood crafts and spending time with family and friends. He helped everyone he could and always had a joke to tell. He will be missed by so many.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 54 years, Alice Burns; daughters, Lynn Mathis, Michelle Freeman (Thomas), Sharon Bufford (Dennis), Carla Nunn, Kim Howard (Joe); Ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Jerry Burns (Mary), Helen Blount (Lavelle).
William is preceded in death by his parents, Lucy and Wayne Burns; sister, Beverly Johnson; brother-in-law, Bill Johnson; daughter, Tracy Leach; son in law, Roy Nunn.
