Sylvia Ann Sample

Sylvia Ann Sample went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 resting in her home. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas on August 17, 1949. She was raised in Punkin Flat, Arkansas.

Sylvia spent most of her life around Marshall running her store and raising her family. She moved to Clinton, Arkansas in 1982 where she continued working in retail. Sylvia was loud, sassy, and full of life. She was the type of person that would light up the room. She loved her family with all her heart and stood beside them no matter what. As she aged, one thing that stood out was her love and relationship with the lord. She attended the Damascus Road Cowboy Church for the last several years. As Sylvia fought her battle with cancer, she held one verse close to her heart “For I the Lord your God will hold your right hand, saying to you “Fear not, I will help you.”  Isaiah 41:13. As she came close to the end she was surrounded by her family and friends and she was ready to go home.

Sylvia is survived by her husband of 25 years, Rick Sample; Her children, Rhydale LeMarr, Micheal LeMarr, Chastity LeMarr and Angela Sample; her grandchildren, Alyssa (Jessie) Swint, Tyler (Sammy) LeMarr, Jessica LeMarr, Lane LeMarr, Ethan LeMarr, Erica LeMarr, Zack Mahan, Maggie Mahan; her great grandkids, Braxton and Paisley Swint, and Clarke Mahan; she had four siblings that meant the world to her, Leyon Bratton, Jimmy Dale Harris, Brenda Hiett, Tammy Treece, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Talmage and Marlie (Smithson) Harris.

Pall Bearers are Ethan LeMarr, Tyler LeMarr, Lane LeMarr, Caden Wallis, Cash Cox, and Jessie Swint.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with services following at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Ozark View Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Quattlebaum Cemetery.
