Steven Lynn Farris, 54 years old of Shirley, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 unexpectedly. He was born in Santa Maria, California on February 15, 1968 to the proud parents Greg and Marlene Farris. Steven proudly served in the Army National Guard in California for eight years. In 1995 steven moved to Shirley, Arkansas to help his parents build a fine lakefront home. While here, he fell in love with the Shirley area and decided to settle in Fairfield Bay. Steven was an avid fisherman; if you asked everyone who knew him, they would tell you that he was “THE BEST FISHERMAN” around. He started his fishing career at the young age of 3. Since then, he has managed to always out fish his father. He was always catching more fish than he could eat, he loved giving his mom and friends his extra bounty. Steven was loved by all who came in contact with him. He was a good-natured person, a best friend, loyal and a son a father could be proud of.
Steven leaves behind his mom and dad of Shirley, Arkansas; his sister, Amy Cheri and brother -in law, Frank Lindner; nephews, Brandon and Josh of Arkansas; cousins, Veronica Navoa, Chelse, Chole, Scott and Erica Hargreaves, brenna, karisa, and Johnny Bordier all of California , Michelle and Derrick Malone of Arkansas, Cody, Emily, and Alisha Pate of Missouri; Aunts, Kayla West of Arkansas, Ronnie Hargreaves, Sharon Freitas, and Barbra Bordier all of California, Debbie Rudo of West Virginia, Edee Hall of Texas, and Erica Buymer of Germany; uncles, John Bordier and Kim Farris both of California, Rudy Rudo of West Virginia, Bill Hall of Texas, and Michael Buymer of Germany
Steven had a large family who loved him very much and will miss him dearly!
