Sandra Diana Ward

Sandra Diana Ward, 63 of Clinton, formerly of Gamaliel, Arkansas, departed from this world on Sunday, April 9, 2023. She was born January 5, 1960 in Mesa, Arizona to the late Stanley McCoy and Dorothy Taylor. Sandy was a beloved member of the Gamaliel community where she lived and opened her store Sandra Ds Grocery and Fuel Stop in 2012.

Sandra's impact on the community of Gamaliel was significant, she was always willing to help or donate to many who were in need. Her selflessness and love of giving back to others meant so much. She had a true passion for crafting and often times she would give her crafts away as gifts to those she knew.

Outside of her passion for crafting, Sandra was an avid traveler and loved nothing more than exploring the outdoors. Her adventurous spirit took her to many beautiful places throughout her life, and she always returned with incredible stories to share.

Sandra's kind, caring nature touched the lives of many, and her passing has left a hole in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. While her friends, family and the community will miss her deeply, we take comfort in knowing that her memory lives on through the beautiful crafts she created, the generosity she showed, and the impact she made during her time with us.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Charlie “Chip” Ward III; children, Leslie Suzanne (Burgener) Mosley and Christopher Lee Burgener; one sister, Hettie Standridge; grandchildren, Alyssa Moore, Jada Johnson, Chase Mosley, Anicia McMinn, William Burgener, Isabella Burgener and many other friends and family members.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, 1:00 p.m. at Ozark View Funeral Home.
