Russell Ion Colquette, 76, of Alread, departed from this world on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Russell was born October 30th, 1944 in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Florence Ione Colquette and Henry Erskine Colquette. He attended LSU and The University of North Texas and retired as a Master Plumber from Brown & Root. He was a Master Mason, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite. He received the Pillars of Solomon Award for assisting in the building of Patterson Lodge #111. He was a member of the Confederate Air Force. He and his beloved wife Bonnie retired to the mountains of Arkansas where they spent their time enjoying the peace and tranquility of their mountain.
He is preceded in death by his Parents and Brother Garrett Erskine Colquette. He is survived by his wife Bonnie Smith Colquette, His children, Shari Colquette Cromer and Husband Christopher Lloyd Cromer, Trevor Holt Colquette and Wife, Kathy Colquette, Tamara Lawson, Greg Smith, Tonya Mulhall and Husband Ken Mulhall, 15 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
