Ronald Lenwood Jordan II

Ronald Lenwood Jordan II, 71, of Center Ridge, Arkansas, rode off into the sunset on Sunday, December 22, 2024. He was born on January 28, 1953, in Malvern, Arkansas, to Ronald and Lavada Jordan, he packed a lifetime of adventures into his 71 years.

Ronald spent over 40 years as an electrician for Union Pacific Railroad, but his true passion was the great outdoors. If he wasn’t fishing, hunting, or tearing it up on a dirt bike, you could find him bringing history to life in Civil War reenactments with the 9th Arkansas Regiment.

He had a knack for music and loved strumming his guitar, though his most treasured performance might have been the flip-flop shuffle, a style only he could pull off. Ronald was also a legendary treasure hunter—whether it was a rare find or just something he thought was cool, he was always collecting something unique.

In 1971, he scored his greatest catch: his wife, Susan. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and over 53 years of unforgettable memories. Ronald had a faith as strong as his personality and adored his “little bitty family” with all his heart.

Left to cherish his memory and all of his treasures is his wife, Susan Jordan; daughters, Michelle Short and husband John, Becca Mansker and husband Dale; grandbabies; Chayton Short-Cornelius, Sheridan and Nick Mansker-Tudeen, Briar Mansker, Dailen Short; one great-grandbaby, Lynnlea Faye Tudeen and a host of friends.

To honor Ronald’s vibrant life, a celebration will be held at the family farm, Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 12:00 p.m., it is located at 504 Smokey Rd. Center Ridge, AR 72027.
