Roberta Marie Clark

Roberta Marie Clark, 66, of Clinton, departed from this world on Friday, March 22, 2024. She was born January 8, 1958 in Chanute, Kansas to the late Clifford and Francis Adams-Melton. Roberta was a dedicated nurse's aide for over 25 years and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Clinton.

Roberta was known for her incredible love, especially for children; she had so much love for children in her heart for them. Any child that came into contact with her became a part of her family too. Roberta made every day feel special and would always say that “Everyday was a holiday”. She loved doing crafts, especially with her grandkids. Sewing, making quilts, and creating things for others were her favorite hobbies.

Roberta was all about spreading happiness. She was super generous and caring, always putting others first. Her crafting skills were amazing, and she shared them with everyone she knew. But more than anything, she showed love to her family, friends, and community.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Adam Melton and wife Andrea of Clinton; grandchildren, Kaitlynn Melton, Elijah Pledger, Leandra Pledger, Sapphire Melton, and Johnny Melton; several extended grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.

Roberta is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Francis Melton; siblings, Philip Melton and Mary Melton.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Clinton.
