Robert Abraham Speith, 67, of Bee Branch, Arkansas, passed away on November 8, 2025. He was born on October 10, 1958, in Sparta, Illinois to George H. and Geraldine (Easton) Speith.
Robert married his beloved wife, Tammy (Oetjen) Speith, on February 4, 1978 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill, Illinois, and together they shared 47 years of marriage.
He is Survived by his devoted wife Tammy; daughter Laurie (Speith) Davis and son-in-law Nathan Davis; he was "Pawpaw" to Easton Wilkerson, Sophie Davis, and Elijah (Eli) Davis; he also leaves behind Brothers-in-law and Sisters-law; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents George H. and Geraldine (Easton) Speith; father-in-law, Leland Oetjen; mother-in-law, Beverly (Asbury)Oetjen; sister, Linda (Speith) Williamson; brother George M. Speith; sister-in-law Lorraine Speith; and brother-in-law Tony (Anthony) Oetjen. and most recently his gardening buddy and equally loved Australian Shepard, Whinnie.
Robert worked many years in printing at Spartan Printing until its closure. He then moved his family to Covington Tennessee. There he worked for World Color before going back to school for HVAC. He then started that new career path at Galloway Nursing and Rehab as maintenance. In 2016 following their daughter and her family, Robert and his wife relocated to Bee Branch, Arkansas, where he worked with The University of Central Arkansas in the Maintenance department until his retirement.
Robert had great pride and joy in his family. He loved gardening, sharing his knowledge with those around him, and spending time outdoors camping, fishing, and hunting with his grandson Easton. He enjoyed finding new recipes to cook for his family. He made the best green beans from his garden. Most of all he enjoyed taking beautiful weekend drives through the Arkansas Mountains with Tammy by his side. His loving and steady presence will be missed by all who knew him.
There will be no formal funeral service. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Robert’s memory with family and friends.
