Michael Jon Pruitt

 Michael Jon Pruitt, a wonderful, talented, loving father, departed from this world on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the age of 64. Michael was born on July 21, 1958, in Kingsville, Texas to the late Kenneth Pruitt and Audrey Mathias. Michael was incredibly skilled at carving things with chainsaws. His unique talent allowed him to create beautiful pieces of art and furniture. When he wasn't carving, he cherished the time he spent with his family. He loved his kids and grandkids more than anything, and he was always up for a good laugh. Joking and playing pranks on people was something he enjoyed, and it brought smiles to the faces of those around him.

The ocean held a special place in Michael's heart. It brought him a sense of peace and happiness. He often spoke about missing his wife, Billie, and the thought of being with her again gave him comfort. Their love was incredibly important to him, and he found strength in their connection.

The memory of Michael Jon Pruitt will forever be cherished by his loved ones. His lively spirit, talent, infectious humor, and deep love will continue to inspire those who knew him. May he find eternal peace and be reunited with his beloved wife, Billie.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Joshua Warren (Amber), Kenneth Pruitt (Ashlie), Shaun Pruitt (Heather), Ashley Pruitt (Mason), Kim Gildemeister (John); siblings, Nancy, Kris, David, Larry, and Rick; grandchildren, Jaylynn Hickman, Isabella Lee, Tyler Warren, Brody Warren, Scarlet Warren, Brantley Pruitt, Ashlen Moore, Kaylen Moore, Kayla Gildemeister, Jordan Gildemeister, Brandon Gildemeister, Logan Pruitt; great-great grandchildren, Karson Warren, Lily Kay Warren, Baby Gilly and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Susan “Billie” Pruitt; one granddaughter, Adrianne Hickman.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
