Michael Edward Neave -58-of Fairfield Bay, AR previously of Galesburg, IL passed from this earth unexpectedly on July 6th, 2021. Michael was born in Galesburg on October 22, 1962 to Lawrence Edward Neave and Kathleen Emerita Neave. Michael attended Galesburg Schools and after graduation set sail for boot camp at Great Lakes Naval Base in Chicago, IL. Michael would go on to serve his country for 20 years. In the beginning of his career, he met a beautiful woman by the name Lise Christine Nielsen and the two would wed on October 27, 1984. During his career Michael traveled the globe but two special places he will always hold close. Beeville Naval Air station and Pax River Naval Station where both children Christian Edward Neave and Elise Marie Edwards formerly Neave we’re brought into the world.
After retirement in August of 2000 Michael and his family moved west from Virginia Beach, VA to Fairfield Bay, AR where the family would reside until now. Michael was a man of integrity and dignity and a leader for his family. Michael also took the skills he learned in the military and spent 16 years at Dawson Aviation in Clinton, AR. He was loyal and dedicated to his family, coworkers and his trade.

Those mourning his loss and remembering him with pride are Christian Neave of Bryant, AR, Elise and Corey Edwards of Shirley, his sister Melinda Van Meter of Galesburg, IL, and his grandchildren Braylen, Jackson, and Finley Neave and Avery and Heston Edwards as well as numerous other family, friends and loved ones.
Michael is preceded in death by his wife of 36 years Lise Christine Nielsen Neave, his mother Kathleen Emerita Sults Neave, his father Lawrence Edward Neave and both sides grandparents as well.
