Memphis Keith Whitbey, the beautiful son of Justin and Rebecca Whitbey, was born into his Heavenly Father’s arms on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 3:33 p.m. and weighed 6lbs, 13oz, and 20 inches long. Memphis came into this world with 10 little beautiful fingers and toes, the sweetest little nose, lips red as a rose and the softest little cheeks. The absolute perfect baby boy. His loving memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him and will be deeply missed.
Memphis is lovingly remembered by his parents, Justin (Dad) and Rebecca (Mom) Whitbey; one brother, Maverick Wilson Whitbey; grandparents, Carrie (Mimi) and Scott (Papa) Huggins, Michelle (Grammy) and Jon (Grampy) Goodnight, Kevin (Papa), Jacquelyn (Mami J); aunts and uncles, LaTasha (Tia) and Beau (Uncle Beau) Barrera, Bryce Pruitt (Uncle Bryce), Tye Pruitt (Uncle Tye-Tye), Jennifer Whitbey (Aunt Jenny), Dalton Lewis (Uncle Dalty), Bailey Lewis (Aunt Bailey), Gavin Lewis (Uncle Gavin); cousins, Elijah Barrera, Elliana Barrera, Evelyn Barrera and many other friends and family members.
He is preceded in death by Angel Baby (sibling); grandpa, Kevin Whitbey, great grandma, Linda Rice; great grandpa, Jerry Collins; great aunt, Robin Breshears.
Pall Bearers is Justin Whitbey (Dad), Kevin Lewis (Papa), Jon Goodnight (Grampy).
Honorary Pall Bearers is Bryce Pruitt (Uncle) and Tye Pruitt (Uncle).
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with services following at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2022 at Ozark View Funeral Home with Brother Terry Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at Pee Dee Cemetery.
