Mary Ellen (Battershell) Bottorf

Mary Ellen Battershell - Bottorf, 54, of Harrison, departed from this world on Friday. May 9th, 2025. She was born on November 15th, 1970 in Marshall, AR, to N.F (Nathan Freeman) and Glenda Thompson-Battershell.

Mary was a true country girl at heart. She found peace in the quiet of the countryside and joy in her favorite country music. Her heart was full of love - for the Lord, for her family, her Razorbacks and for the simple things in life that made life sweet.  She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Ray Bottorf of Harrison; children, Heather Oliver, Marie Cole, and William Rains all of Marshall; Siblings, Beth Tyler, Shelly Holliman.

and Natha Davis all of Marshall.

Four grandchildren; Landon, Brooklyn, Mia, and Carlee; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other family members who all loved and mourns her passing.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents- N.F and Glenda Battershell and her brother Denny Battershell.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at the Canaan Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas with Allen Sutterfield officiating.
