Wanda Lois Freeman, age 68, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026, after a long illness. She was born August 3, 1957, in Marysville, California, to H. B. and Wanda Faye Freeman, who preceded her in death.
Lois was a devoted member of the Russellville Church of Christ. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her in her roles as a daughter, sister, and friend.
She was a hard worker and loved working outside on the farm in her younger years. She later worked as a teacher’s aide and lovingly cared for her aging parents. Lois enjoyed knitting and crocheting, making many adorable gifts for her family. Other activities that brought her joy included going to garage sales, thrift shopping, caring for her beloved cats, and listening to gospel and oldies music.
Lois is survived by her sister, Mary (Steve) Richardson of Waco, Texas; brother, Daniel (Sandy) Freeman of Montague, Texas; sister, Chloe Thompson of Waco, Texas; nieces, Amanda Richardson, Joanna Crowe, Amy Butler, Nicole Thompson, Kiana Thompson, and Ashley Thompson-Fredregill; nephews, Tim Campbell and Jeff Campbell; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ozark View Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held Friday, January 9, 2026, 2:00 p.m. at the Cedar Creek Cemetery in Jerusalem, Arkansas.
