Lisa Ann (Houston) Henderson

Lisa Ann Henderson, 48, of Shirley, departed from this world on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. She was born December 1, 1976 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Lisa cherished her children deeply and found joy in creating lasting memories with them. Summers were spent at the Buffalo River, where she loved collecting unique rocks, enjoying the beauty of nature, and making the most of every moment. She delighted in playing games with family and friends and had a deep appreciation for music. Her children will always remember the extravagant meals she lovingly prepared, a reflection of her warmth and care. Lisa was deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Jon Houston and Sherrie Bramlett-Gossett; children, Jacob Henderson, Savannah Henderson, Nathan Witt and DeAnna McKay; one sister, Rachel Houston; nieces and nephews, Sahar, Joan, Jane, Josie; life partner of 15 years, Shelby McKay; his two daughters, Kristen and Kaycee McKay and a host of friends and other family members.

Lisa is preceded in death by her brothers, Shane Houston and Nathan Houston.

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 7, 2025, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. and services following at 2:00 p.m.
