Linda Carol Charles

Linda Carol Charles, 77, of Cleveland, Arkansas, departed from this world on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 17, 1948, in Bay, Arkansas to the late Oscar Hamilton and Elsie Irene Fischer.

Linda was a wonderful woman, beautiful inside and out. She was known for her strong work ethic and dedication, having worked at Maybelline for over 38 years. She took pride in her work and carried that same devotion into every part of her life.

Family meant everything to Linda. She loved her grandchildren with her whole heart and treasured every moment spent with them. Whether she was watching her favorite television shows, browsing through flea markets, or casting a line while fishing, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures. More than anything, she cherished time spent with those she loved.

Linda’s love for her family and her steady, faithful presence will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Richard Charles; her children, James Charles and Carla Guffey; four grandchildren, Jeremy, Scot, Jake, and Brittney; six great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and extended family members who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ozark View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Ozark View Funeral home, with burial to follow at Old Liberty Cemetery in Cleveland.
