Lee David Walker, 80, of Shirley, Arkansas, departed from this world peacefully on Thursday, October 24, 2024, with his family by his side. Lee was born on December 15, 1943, in Bentonville, Arkansas to the late Byron Walker and LaRue Cowden-Walker.
Lee served in the United States Air Force and later worked for over 30 years with FedEx, where he managed their aircraft operations. He had a deep love for airplanes and a sharp mind, which made him great at his job.
In his free time, Lee enjoyed reading, listening to old country music, watching classic movies, and wood carving. He also loved spending time by Greers Ferry Lake, watching the boats go by. Above all, he loved and valued his family, who will miss him dearly.
Lee will be remembered warmly by everyone who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Left to cherish him memory is his wife of 30 years, Marcia Walker; children, David Lee Walker, Diane Marie Ludwig, Venessa Dalla Rosa, Laura Rever, Andrea Ridge; brothers, Joe and Jim Walker; grandchildren, Jimmy, Jake, Jason, Ava, Mia, Liam, Jace, Jessie and a host of friends and other family members.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents.
