Lee Waddell passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family. Born on November 11, 1929, Lee lived a rich and joyful life, filled with the love of devoted family and friends who will deeply miss him.
For more than 50 years, Lee faithfully served as a minister in his local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. His life was centered on his hope in the fulfillment of the Lord’s Prayer—that God’s will would be done on Earth. He looked forward to the restoration of paradise and the resurrection of those in God’s memory, longing for the day he would once again see his parents, siblings, and many dear friends. Now, Lee rests in that hope, awaiting the promised resurrection under Christ’s reign.
Lee is survived by his loving wife of nearly 66 years, Lois; his three children: Dana Copeland and her husband Tony, Jody Waddell and his wife Susan, and Lori Evans and her husband Don; one grandson, Jarod Copeland; his sister, Bertha Mobley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of cherished friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 3 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 3624 US-65 in Clinton, Arkansas. All who knew him are invited to attend.
