Lovell C. Chalk departed from this world on Friday, April 30, 2021. He was born November 26, 1937 to the late Thomas and Florence Chalk in Higden, Arkansas. He was a school bus driver for many years and later became a truck driver for Conagra/Banquet Frozen Foods Division for 29 years. Bored with retirement he started driving the recycling truck for the city of Clinton until his health forced him to give it up.
L.C. is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Shirley Chalk; parents, Thomas and Florence Chalk; great grandson Mylo Olmstead and all of his siblings except for two sisters.
Left to cherish his memory are his three daughters, Delana, Debi, and D.K. (Larry); 5 grandchildren, Derek (Tiffany), Blake, Kayla (Josh), Tamera, Justin (Josey); 10 great grandchildren, Kaity, Brier, Aniston, Henzley, Maddie, Jocelynn, Jacen, Maddox, Ty, Aidan, plus one on the way; Also, many close friends, music and hunting buddies, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2021, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ozark View Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Clinton with Pastor Faron officiating.
