Kathy Lynn Whitaker

Kathy Lynn Whitaker, 63, of Clinton, departed from this world on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. She was born February 7, 1961 in Dallas, Texas to the late Shelia Geiser-Chaney.

Kathy was a passionate advocate; she worked hard to spread awareness and positive change in the things that mattered most to her. Aside from her activism, Kathy had a big heart for her dogs, treating them like family. She was a people person, making friends was easy with her laid-back and fun-loving personality. Kathy was also a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Clinton. Her family meant everything to her, and she will be missed greatly.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Chris Schroeder and Ernest Schroeder; numerous grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a host of friends and other family members.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lelia Holder.
