Jessica Lynn Harvey

Jessica Lynn Harvey passed away peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2024 at home after a hard fight with cancer at the young age of 41. She was born in Jackson, Mississippi on August 20, 1982 to Lamar and Mary Harvey.

After graduating high school, Jessi attended college and became a Registered Medical Assistant; not only did she graduate with a 4.0 gpa, she also had her daughter during that time. She started her journey working for Doctor Jose in Clinton and then the Little Rock Diagnostic Clinic in Little Rock. Jessi touched so many hearts of the patients she pridefully took care of. Along the way, she had three more babies, all boys who kept her on her toes.   

Although Jessi was a lover of many things, her children were her pride and joy and she was their guiding star. She had a great impact on her nieces and nephews as well and they loved her immensely. Jessi was a bright light to so many who crossed her path and the adored her dearly. She loved her family, friends, animals, and God fiercely and was a faithful prayer warrior.

Jessi enjoyed painting, fishing, astrology, collecting bibles, and heart shaped rocks; but her absolute favorite was the Dallas Cowboys, she was of course a die-hard fan through and through.

Left to abundantly cherish her memory, are her parents, Lamar and Mary Harvey; one sister, Brooks Gann (Jacen); one daughter, Jlynn Santiago; three sons, Jaymison, Jackson, and Jonmayson; her fur baby, jigger Bait; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Jessi is preceded in death by her papaw and mamaw, Richard and Barbara May; her other papaw and mamaw, Albert and Jimmie Harvey.

A visitation will be held Friday, February 2, 2024, at Ozark View Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with services following at 7:30 p.m. with words from Ken Brown and anyone else who would like to share some kind words about Jessi.
