Jason Lamont Adams, 48, of Alread, Arkansas, departed from this world on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. He was born on November 30, 1976, in Springfield, Missouri, to Cheryl and Alvin Ellis.
Jason was a loving and devoted husband and father whose heart was as big as his smile. He was kind, funny, and strong — the kind of person who could make anyone laugh and always made those around him feel cared for. Above all else, Jason was a God-fearing man whose faith guided him throughout his life.
His love for his family and his unwavering faith will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
A final saying from Jason was “It’s never bad news when your loved one goes to Heaven. You’re suppose to rejoice when your loved one goes to be with the Lord”
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Elizabeth Adams; parents, Cheryl and Alvin Ellis; children, Kody (Cyera) Adams, Logan Adams, Brandon Adams, and Zoey Adams; siblings, Carol (Sam) Morris, Kimball Creson, Teresa Adams, and John (Morgan) Ellis; nieces and nephews, Sky Lawrence, Thristan, Trevyn, Madi Buzbee, Taryn Ellis, Emmily Creson; great nephews, Kameron and River Dorsey and many other friends and family members.
Jason is preceded in death by his son, Eli Lamont Adams.
A memorial service will be held in Oklahoma at a later date.
