JANICE ANN (KIRKENDOLL) PHARISS COOK OF CLINTON, ARKANSAS OCTOBER 4, 1952 – FEBRUARY 11, 2022

Janice Ann Cook, 69, of Clinton was born on October 4, 1952 in Pee Dee, Arkansas to the late Junior and Iline (Brown) Kirkendoll and passed from this life on February 11, 2022 at her home. Janice was a loving wife, mother, nana, sister, and friend. She was a clerical worker for the Van Buren County Circuit Clerk’s Office, a WIC specialist at the Van Buren County Health offices, a grocery store co owner, homemaker, and well respected throughout the community.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, James Phariss, her parents, and her brother James Kirkendoll.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Rusty Cook, four children: Johnnie Phariss (Brandi), Angela Dodd (Don), Joseph Phariss (Kandice), and Jason Phariss (Kim), seven grandkids Bryce Dodd, Ty Dodd, Aiden Picazo, Grady Hargis, Braizen Picazo, Gage Hargis, Malachi Phariss, her loving brother Jimmie Kirkendoll, and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Pall Bearers are, Bryce Dodd, Ty Dodd, Marvin White, Jimmy Misenheimer Jr., Luke Kirkendoll, Shane Kirkendoll.

Honorary Pall Bearers are, Garner Kirkendoll, Malachi Phariss, Grady Hargis, Gage Hargis, Braizen Picaza, Aiden Picaza.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.at the Ozark View Funeral Home chapel in Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held immediately afterward at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Shirley.
