James Preston Entwistle

James Preston Entwistle, 68, of Scotland, Arkansas, departed from this world on Sunday, March 12, 2023. He was born in Moline, Illinois on July 10, 1954 to the late Richard and Phylis Entwistle. James was a U. S. Army Veteran; he served his country proudly for over four years. After leaving the service, he went on and made a career as a roofer. James loved many things in his lifetime; some of his favorite things were going to casinos, playing scratch offs, eating lobster, fishing, hunting, and watching crime shows. But his greatest love of all was his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Sharon Bradley (Jamie), Faith McFarland (Trevor), Jim Entwistle (Kelly), Kristine Jones, Harold Karr; siblings, Rick Entwistle (Nancy), Crystal Vanderpool (Walt), Lisa Werner (Jim); 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, Trudy Ricketts, and many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.

James is preceded in death by his parents; partner in love, Loretta Eads; son, Shane Entwistle; sister, Dianna Dunsworth.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. with services following at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Scotland Light House Church.
