Jacquelyn (Jackie) Bradford Dickson, 82, of Clinton, Arkansas, departed from this world on Monday, June 27, 2022. Born as an only child to Elbert Estel Denney and Edna Ethel James. Jackie married Garland (Joe) Bradford on June 5, 1957. Together they had 2 daughters, Terri and Carla. Joe preceded her in death on June 13, 1992. After a few years, Jackie was blessed and found love again. She married Calvin Dickson in December 1999. They loved deeply and had many great times together, but unfortunately, Cal passed away in October of 2006. After the loss of Calvin, Jackie found a special friendship and companionship with Jim Paget. They too had many special times, trips, and adventures together. They especially enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling.
Jackie obtained her LPN license in 1979 and her RN in 2000 at the age of 60. An example of how not to give up on your dream and that it is never too late. She loved being a nurse in her hometown and taking care of the people she knew. She enjoyed sharing her nursing knowledge and skills, mentored many on their nursing journey at Ozark Health. There was only one thing she loved more than nursing, and that was her family. If you were lucky enough to be apart of her family, either by blood or by choice, you were loved unconditionally. Her door, arms, and ears were always open to you.
She loved being outdoors, camping, fishing, and spending time with family. Most days you could find her with Carla and Darien at their food truck, Ozark Chow Hall. She loved sitting and watching people come and go, and visiting with customers.
Jackie is survived by her loving family, both chosen and blood, and many friends. Daughter, Terri and husband Mark Sanders, their children, Nicole Sanders, Eric (Molli Williamson) Sanders, Ian (Andrew Serio) Sanders, and Miranda (Daniel Johnson) Sanders; Daughter, Carla and husband Darien Slayton and their children, Ty (Jessica) Slayton, Jaci and Wyatt McCoy and Tara Slayton; Daughter, Jamie and Kris Graham; seven great grandchildren, Jaxon Lowe, Raylan Sanders, Chasen Slayton, Greyson Slayton, Easton Slayton, Paisley Morris and Karley Morris, and baby McCoy on the way; sister of the heart Susie Mullins.
