Heide Marie Morris, born January 4, 1947 in Naila, Germany to Georg & Johanna Böhm, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home on Friday, October 24, 2025. Her one wish was to have her family close during her illness, and that wish was lovingly fulfilled, including face-to-face video calls with her family in Germany.
Heide was known for her tireless work ethic, having spent 45 years cleaning homes. Remarkably, she continued working five days a week until just a week before her diagnosis. She also had a great love for flowers, animals, and the beauty of nature.
Though not always religious, Heide had a deep love for God. After moving to Clinton, she began studying the Bible and attending the Clinton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Only two months after her move, she received a difficult diagnosis. Even so, her faith in Jehovah God and His Son, Jesus Christ, gave her the strength to endure. The Bible's promise of a future free from pain and death—and the hope of a resurrection—brought her deep peace and joy in her final weeks.
Her favorite scriptures were: Isaiah 33:24 and Revelation 21:3, 4
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Roger and Roy Morris; daughter, Diane Dudzik; brother, Fred Hüttner; twin sister, Anne Marie Walaschek; grandsons, Sam Morris, Spencer Dudzik and Ryan Dudzik, and many nephews and nieces.
Heide is preceded in death by her sisters, Sonja Wunder and Christa Kastner.
