Glenda Ann (Thomas) Threadgill

Glenda Ann Thomas- Threadgill was born on October 3, 1950 in Scottsdale, Arizona, to Glen Thomas and Bessie McFarland Thomas. She departed from this world on March 3, 2023 in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 72. Glenda saw joy in everything she did. She spent several years running a truck stop while raising nine children and got to know people from all walks of life. The warmth she shared earned her the love and respect of her customers, and she enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them. Glenda discovered her passion for working for the public and others at a very young age and pursued it wholeheartedly. She worked as a nurse’s aide, where she loved taking care of her patients as well.

Glenda was a devoted mother who always put her family first. She derived enormous happiness from raising her children and instilling in them important life lessons from her own experiences. Her love and support helped her family navigate the challenges of life with grace and determination.

Glenda's memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends but her legacy will live on through them.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Wayne Webster (Lori), John Webster (Melinda), Ben Webster, Michael Webster, and Daryle Webster (Kesae-Raye); daughters, Debbie Tatum (Brian), Janice McNew (Ronnie), Tracy Williams, and Bessie Helms (Robbie); sisters, Gail Vance (Gary), Jeri Wilkins, and Ella Mae Hill (Raymond); 21 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, friends and other family members.

Glenda is preceded in death by Her parents, Glen and Bessie Thomas, husband, Lee Threadgill; her sister, Katie Meyer, and her grandson, Tommy Tatum.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at Ozark View Funeral Home.
