Glen Jackson Kight (65) of Shirley, Arkansas, formerly of Hot Springs, Arkansas left to join his heavenly family on Monday, June 30, 2025. He was born October 7,1959 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Leonard Jackson Kight and Winnie Waite Kight. He attended Lakeside schools but learned cabinetry and carpentry at his Daddy's knee and later became a master craftsman himself. Glen was a jack of all trades, a hard worker, and could fix anything. He most recently worked in the paint department at F L Davis Building Supply in Greers Ferry, Arkansas. Glen was a lifelong member of Philippi Church of Christ in Point Cedar, Arkansas and attended Grace Church in Clinton, AR. Glen read and studied his Bible daily from which he sought strength and peace.
Glen was kind and loved with his whole heart and was always willing to help when needed. He truly treasured his family and friends. Glen was unassuming and would be awed at the hole his passing has left in our lives.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and several beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by his former wife and friend Terri Kight, his Uncle Jeff Speer, many Kight and Waite cousins, and many friends who will all cherish his memory.
A celebration of his life is planned at Delamar Cemetery in Manning, Arkansas at a later date.
