Gary Allen Turner, 57, of Higden, Arkansas, departed from this world on Saturday, September 18, 2021. He was born on February 4, 1964 in Los Angeles, California to the late Harvey Ray Turner and Irene Ida Schoeneweis. Gary was always known for his love of Jesus and loved attending Grace Church; he was also known for his love of Van Halen as well. He never met a stranger and was a friend to many. He was very talented and could fix anything. Gary loved his family, children, and his grandbabies. He always loved to help people. He was the best big brother and defender of his siblings. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. It was his dying wish that his kids know Jesus and believe in God, so he would see them on the other side.
Left to cherish his memory is the mother of his children, Angel Turner of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas; his daughters, Michelle (Steve) Cruz of Austin, Texas, Melissa (Charlie) Green of New York; sons, Jeremy (Lyra) Lawton and, Mickey Turner both of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas; grandchildren, Sara Cruz, Ender and Emma Green, Tyona (Smiley), Maddie (Maddie Moo), Bella (Bella Bella Beautiful), and GiGi (The Queen) Lawton, Shelby and Haze Turner; siblings, Julie (Chuck) Gann of Clinton, Arkansas, Donald (Sandy) Turner of San Diego, California; lots of nieces, nephews, friends and other extended family.
