Dorothy "Dixie" Lee Obituary

Dixie was called home November 14th 2022. She was Born on August 6th 1946. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother as well as sister, aunt and dear friend to many.

She was preceded in death by Her father Kenny, mother Evelyn and brother Russ.

She leaves behind her husband of 57 years Robert, sons Kenneth and Kirk, daughter in laws Ruby and Angela. Grandchildren Vincent, Brennen, Austin, Aiden, Bella and Sebastian. Great grandchildren Alivia, Penelope and Ameila; Brother Larry and sisters Phyllis and Barbara. As well as many dear friends.

Dixie was a kind soul and a social butterfly. Those who knew her will remember her kind eyes and quick smile. She was a generous person who donated her time and materials doing what she loved, sewing. She would make blankets for the children of fallen first responders and send them to the family as a kind notion that people do care. Dixie enjoyed a life to the fullest with an optimistic view.
Please don’t mourn. She wouldn’t want that. She would prefer smiles and laughter. So please remember the best things about Dixie and the specific memories that you had with her and smile.
