Dennis Ray Cossey

Dennis Ray Cossey, 68, of Bee Branch, departed from this world on Saturday, September 2, 2023. He was born, September 4, 1954 in Clinton, Arkansas to the late Claude Cossey and Audrey Thomason Cossey-Hensley.

Dennis was full of life and enjoyed many aspects of the outdoors. You could always find him fishing and farming. When he was young, he loved riding horses and going to the chuck wagon races. He loved coon hunting with his grandchildren. He was also and avid story teller; you never knew what parts to believe, but he would convince you that it was all true. Dennis loved his family dearly. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and everyone that loved him.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Lisa Floyd (Michael); siblings, James L. Cossey, Diane Hutto, Ricky Cossey, David Cossey; grandchildren, Jordon Cossey, Brooklyn Passmore (Cameron), Landon Isbell, Alyssa Cossey, Kaitlyn Cossey; great grandchildren, Jace Cossey, Adalyn Passmore, Kayden Passmore, Haze Garrett, Hendrix Garrett, Hudson Garrett, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.

Dennis is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Diane Cossey; Parents, Claude Cossey and Audrey Cossey-Hensley; beloved in-laws, Ronald and Lavada Jorda; one son, Scotty Ray Cossey; siblings, Glen Cossey, Barbara Howard, and Gary Cossey.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Dennis Cossey.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. with services following at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Ozark View Funeral Home with Carl Junior Thomason officiating.
