David Albert McKinley, 62, of Clinton, departed from this world on Monday, April 29, 2024. He was born in Kermit, Texas to the late Thomas and Francis Mckinley. David was the guy who loved to crack jokes and help out as a volunteer firefighter at Culpeper Fire Department
David was known as the funny guy wherever he went. He had a talent for making people laugh with his jokes and pranks. But he was more than just a comedian. He was also volunteer firefighter who loved serving his community and others who needed help.
When he wasn't volunteering, David liked to spend his time outdoors. He was a big fan of night fishing and hunting, basically anything that let him enjoy nature.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Latricia Ward; children, Jeremy McKinley, Josh McKinley, Thomas McKinley, Clyde Austin; siblings, John McKinley and Terry Lynn Sparks; Three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
David is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Donna Marie Jones.
A memorial service will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1, 2024, 5:30 p.m. at the Formosa Community Center.
