Daniel Yoder, 75, of Shirley, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
Daniel was a man who lived life with passion, deep faith, and a love for the roar of an engine. Racing was one of his greatest joys, and through that passion he formed many lasting friendships and touched the lives of countless people. The thrill of speed and competition brought him excitement and created many cherished memories with those who shared the track and the experience alongside him.
Above all else, Daniel’s faith was the center of his life. His belief in Christ guided his path, shaped his kindness, and gave him strength throughout the years. He found great purpose in sharing his faith with others and encouraging those around him, often reminding people of the hope, grace, and peace found in Christ.
Daniel will be remembered for his warm heart, steadfast faith, and the enthusiasm he brought to every race, conversation, and gathering. Those who knew him will remember his stories, his laughter, and the way he made everyone feel welcome.
Though his race here on earth has come to an end, those who loved him take comfort in knowing he has crossed the finish line and now rests in the peace of his Savior.
Daniel was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rebecca Brown Yoder. Daniel and Rebecca met in Arizona on November 7, 1989, and were married shortly after on December 10, 1989. Together they later moved to Shiloh Valley Ranch in Shirley, Arkansas. Their shared faith led them on many journeys across the world, where they traveled extensively teaching others about Christ. Along the way, Daniel and Rebecca also co-authored five books together.
Daniel leaves behind many dear friends across the world who mourn his passing and celebrate the life he lived.
A small graveside service will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026, 1:30 p.m. at Settlement Cemetery in Shirley.
