Cody Michael Gordon

Cody Michael Gordon, 27, of Fairfield Bay, passed from this world on Friday, October 10, 2025. He was born February 16, 1998 in Conway, Arkansas, to Whitney Markle and Timothy Gordon.

Cody worked for Aaplundh Tree Trimming Service and had a true gift for his work — he could identify nearly every tree you’d come across. He loved the outdoors and found his peace in nature, whether he was hiking, riding horses, hunting, fishing, or spending time out on the lake.

Above all, Cody loved his children more than life itself. He had a heart as big as his smile, and he never met a stranger. He was known for his quick wit and kind words — there was rarely an in-between.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Liam and Kennedy Gordon; his mother, Whitney Markle, and her husband Jason; his father, Tim Gordon, and his wife Lyndy; siblings, Danielle Cambron and husband Zach, and Benjamin Gordon; grandmother, Vi Winters; his beloved dog Dewy; along with many other beloved friends and family from Ashdown, Clinton, and the Greers Ferry Lake area.

Cody is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Alfred “Butch” Winters, Argus Markle, and Fred Gordon.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Ozark View Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the service following at 3:00 p.m.
