Christal Dawn Thomas

Christal Dawn Thomas, passed peacefully in her sleep on January 27th, 2025, at home in Clinton. Born to Bill and Paula Thomas on September 18, 1969 in Blytheville, she lived most of her life in Leachville before moving to the hills in 1995.

Christal had a smile that could light up any room, and it was never brighter than when she got to visit Branson. She had a deep love for music, jewelry, and anything purple. Christal also cherished being the center of attention when surrounded by family and friends, and she never met a stranger. She attended Van Buren County Special School, where she remained until her retirement in 2020.

She is survived by her parents, Bill and Paula Thomas, of the home, siblings: Kelly (Marvin) Fry of Monette and Billy Joe (Rachel) Thomas of Bee Branch, nieces and nephews: Katie (Braden) Drury, Trey Fry, Eli Thomas and Braeli Thomas, and a host of family and friends.

Pall Bearers are Billy Joe Thomas II, Marvin Fry II, Trey Fry, Braden Drury, Stephen Pendergrass, Earnest Shirley.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, January 31st, at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Shirley (off Hwy 110) with Visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. and service following at 2:00 p.m. with Randy Thomas officiating. Burial will follow immediately after.
