Charlotte Elza (Walker) Roberts

Charlotte Elza Walker-Roberts, 85, of Scotland, went to her heavenly home on Monday, December 19, 2022. She was born on March 24, 1937 in Floresville, Texas to the late William and Ethel Dicus-Walker. Charlotte was a member of the Scotland Lighthouse Church. She enjoyed many things in life, but some of her favorites were singing in church, playing with all the babies, coloring, and reading. Charlotte was married to Parnell Roberts for over 59 years. Together, they raised a beautiful family, and from that love their family grew bigger and bigger. Charlotte was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She will be truly missed by all those that knew her and loved her.  

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kevin Roberts and Kim Titus; grandchildren, Christina Aaron, Erica Hoyle, Joseph, Blake, Simone, Stephanie, Kayla, and Tara; 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Parnell Roberts; children; Steve Roberts, and a baby girl, Carrie Darlene Roberts; all of Charlotte’s siblings have gone on before her as well.

Pall Bearers are Adam Hoyle, Shawn Aaron, Brandon McCoy, Joseph DeShazo, Blake Titus, Christian Stelk.

Honorary Pall Bearers are Jeremy Aaron, Lane Hoyle, Chase Stelk.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. with services following at 11:00 a.m. at the Scotland Light House Church Thursday, December 22, 2022 with Sheila Gardner officiating. Burial will follow at the Foster Cemetery.
