Carl Dean Bonds

Carl Dean Bonds, age 97, of Clinton, Arkansas, went to meet his Heavenly Father, Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Ozark Health Nursing and Rehab Center. He entered into this world July 14, 1927 in Clinton, Arkansas, born to Jim and Mary (Grant) Bonds. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a dedicated Christian, an active member and deacon of Lexington Baptist Church for many years.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gulya Little Bonds, four brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his son, Leslie (Connie) Bonds and three daughters, Elaine (Mike) Treadaway, Diane (Charles) Deckelman, and Jan (Bill) Brown all of Clinton. He was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Pall Bearers are Brent Treadaway, Eric Deckelman, Troy Bigham, Lance Brown, Matt Treadaway, Garrett Bonds, and Kelby Bonds.

Honorary Pall Bearers are Joe Newman, Cecil Bane, Gilbert Lassiter, Jeff Cox and Jesse Wilson.

Funeral Services will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Lexington Baptist Church with Brother John Doyle and Brother Charlie Deckelman officiating. Interment will follow at Lexington Cemetery.
