Alexis Patterson Obituary

Alexis Nichol Patterson, “Lexi” peacefully entered the presence of her Lord on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the age of 23. She was the beloved mother to Jaxson and Braxton. They are the light of her life and always will be.

Lexi was born on March 27, 2001 in Conway, Arkansas to Amberlie Thurman and Joshua Patterson. She graduated from Clinton High School in 2019. In hopes to fulfill her childhood dream, she enlisted to serve our country on October 3rd, 2019. She was employed at the Johnson County Sheriff as a Patrol Deputy.

Once sworn in, she completed her basic training and AIT at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. She was a part of the 795th MP Battalion First Platoon, 14th MP Brigade. Some of her favorite memories were mopping the floors until they smelled like bleach and surviving the gas chamber. Through her time serving in the military, she accomplished becoming “police officer of the year” at Fort Chaffee, moving up in rank to Specialist, and obtaining various well achieved awards.

Lexi began her law enforcement career at the Johnson County Sheriff's Office in 2022. She graduated from the police academy on June 14th, 2024. After graduation she earned the title of Patrol Deputy JC23.

One of the things Lexi will always be remembered by is her love for her two sons, Jaxson and Braxton. Some of their favorite things to do were playing at the park, fishing, swimming, coloring, and going to McDonalds for the boy’s favorite happy meals. During any free time, you could catch her drawing, painting, listening to music, gardening, spending time with family, and hanging out with her friends. She will always be remembered by her beautiful smile, strong-willed personality, and the ability to light up any room.

Lexi is preceded in death by her Great Grandparents, Oma and Paul Dunham, and Arlie Walls, Grandparents Bob and Marcia Patterson, her cousin Tory Puckett, her Uncle Grover Dunham, her Aunt Marie Ramsey, her Aunt Karen and Uncle Buck, her Aunt Reba and Uncle Don, and her Aunt Janice Kimbrell.

She leaves behind a large and loving family to carry on her legacy: her handsome boys; Jaxson and Braxton; her parents, Amberlie and Justin Thurman of Clinton and Joshua Patterson of Clinton; her bonus parents, Stewart Condley of Hector, and Tiffany Patterson of Clinton; sisters, Bailey Gottsponer and Macie Thurman of Clinton; her brothers Garrett and Ezra Patterson of Clinton; her grandparents, Troy and Barbara Dunham of Clinton, Lisa Thurman of Clinton, Mike Thurman of Drasco, Steve Hygail of Mountain View and Susan Patterson of Clinton; her great- grandmother, Zelda Walls of Clinton;  many aunts, uncles, a host of cousins, many friends and Battle Buddies, all whom were blessed to experience her love and kindness.
