Ronnie Lynn Agnew, 76, of Heber Springs, departed from this world on Saturday, April 13, 2024. He was Born in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Wallace H. Agnew and Marsalle McGrew. Ronnie was a lifelong resident of Pulaski County and deeply rooted in his community.
Ronnie dedicated much of his life to serving his country, exemplifying the values of honor, courage, and commitment during his time in the Marines. After his honorable service, Ronnie transitioned to civilian life, where he found fulfillment in his career at Douglas Company Inc.
A faithful member of the North Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church, Ronnie's faith was an integral part of his life. He found strength and solace in his religious community, and his presence will be deeply missed.
Above all else, Ronnie cherished his role as a father and grandfather. He adored his children and grandchildren, and his love for them knew no bounds. Whether he was cheering them on from the sidelines or sharing precious moments together, Ronnie's love and devotion to his family were unwavering.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, C. David Agnew, Shannon Agnew-Barber (Terra Agnew), Joshua Agnew (Emily Adams); brother, Jerry W. Agnew; grandchildren, Jasmine E. C. Navarrete, Tobis A. L. Barber and many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Phyllis Hill (Basil Hill).
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at 15508, I-30 in Benton, Arkansas, 72019.
